Much before its release, Shah Rukh Khan’s second film of the year, Jawan, is already creating ripples in the Indian film industry. It has been revealed that the movie’s music rights have been sold for a record-breaking sum of money.
As per a Box Office Worldwide report, the music rights of Jawan have been bought by T-Series for Rs 36 crore. Though many music companies were in the running to buy the music rights of the action-thriller, T-Series has secured the rights.
Helmed by Bigil and Mersal director Atlee, Jawan stars Shah Rukh Khan in a never-seen-before avatar. He is joined by the powerhouses of talent Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the film. Besides the three superstars, the film boasts of an ensemble cast.
The craze around Jawan is much evident from the constant queries Shah Rukh fields from his fans on social media regarding the teaser and trailer of the film. During one of his Ask Me Anything sessions, a fan asked SRK if he can take some money and release Jawan immediately. “Bhai, 100-200 zyda Lelo par #jawaan movie kal hi release kar do,” the fan tweeted to Shah Rukh.
Another fan asked SRK when will he release the teaser of Jawan, to which the actor replied, “It’s all ready getting other assets in place. Don’t worry it’s all in a happy place…#Jawan”.
Jawan is scheduled to release on September 7. The film also features Deepika Padukone in a cameo. After Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki which is eyeing a December release.
