Rhea Chakraborty and Prince Narula, gang leaders on the reality show MTV Roadies 19, have an ongoing rift between them. In a recent promo video of the show, fans saw the tension between them reach a boiling point.

The trouble began when Prince faced a moment of panic while selecting the top 10 contestants for his gang. In the heat of the moment, an argument erupted between Prince and Rhea, with Prince remarking, “Isko toh khud kuch nahi pata (She doesn’t know anything)”. This statement left Rhea furious, and she questioned Prince, “Why do you always have to get so personal with everyone? We know ourselves enough, and you don’t need to tell me if I know myself or not.” She demanded that he lower his voice.

Prince, undeterred, defended his right to express himself. He said, “I’ll say what I want. Why do you have to take everything personally… let me do what I want.” Despite the intervention of the show’s host, Sonu Sood, their heated exchange persisted.

Earlier, reports of them refusing to shoot with each other were doing the rounds. When asked about the same, Prince Narula told indianexpress.com, “Unko mujhe samajhne mein, and mujhe unhe samajhne mein time laga (we took time to understand each other). This is just a show for them but it’s an emotion for me. Earlier, we would have the worst of fights but no one got personal. We were so involved that we would get loud but that never meant we were disrespectful towards each other. The new ones on the show would take time to adapt to the format and the personalities. However, I have always believed in mutual respect, and would do so. Baaki unko samajhna padega yeh show hai kya (they will have to understand what this show is about),”

In a nostalgic moment, Prince expressed how much he missed the original gang leaders—Neha Dhupia, Raftaar, and Nikhil Chinapa. He highlighted the level of maturity and understanding they shared, contrasting it with the current situation. “You guys have seen Neha and me fight, she would never call me badtameez (impolite). It’s all in that moment, the show is such. If Kohli (Virat Kohli) is not aggressive on the field, he’ll never be himself. He loves the game, and similarly, we love the show. If others cannot understand that, I cannot change myself,” he said.

Rhea Chakraborty has made her comeback as a mentor on MTV Roadies 19. The show also sees Shark Tank fame Ashneer Grover as a guest judge.
