Actor Ameesha Patel is all set to reprise the role of Sakeena in Gadar 2, with Sunny Deol playing the lead Tara Singh. Recently, the actor shared a spoiler from the movie leaving fans with mixed reactions. She also took to social media to call out director Anil Sharma and his production team for the mismanagement on set. She thanked Zee Studios for stepping in and sorting things for the team.
Calling out Anil Sharma Productions for their mismanagement while shooting Gadar 2 in Chandigarh, Ameesha Patel tweeted, “Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS to have taken place in regards to the final schedule of GADAR 2 that took place end May in CHANDIGARH.”
She highlighted the issues the team faced because of the makers, as she next wrote about how certain members were not paid and Zee Studios had to clear the dues. Ameesha also mentioned how the accommodation and transport bills were left unpaid by them. They also failed to provide cars to certain cast and crew, leaving them stranded.

“There were certain queries that many technicians like make up artists,costume designers n others etc did not receive their rightful remuneration and dues from ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!!Yes they did not !! But @ZeeStudios_ stepped in and made sure all dues were settled as they are a v professional company!,” she wrote.

She thanked Zee Studios for their efforts sharing how Anil Sharma’s production company ‘misfired’ numerous times. It read, “All involved in the film are aware that the production of GADAR 2 was being handled by ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS which unfortunately misfired numerous times but @ZeeStudios_ always rectified issues!! A special thanks to them especially Shariq Patel,Neeraj Joshi, Kabeer Ghosh and Nischit !! This zee team is top notch.”
Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Helmed by Anil Sharma, the film will hit the theatres on August 11. The film also features Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur and Luv Sinha. Gadar 2 will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Oh My God 2.
