NL Sharma takes charge as new BBMB chairman

Nand Lal Sharma, who was earlier serving as chairman and managing director of SJVN, took charge as chairman of Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) on July 1.

Sharma has held multiple leadership roles, including chairman of SJVN Arun-3 Power Development Company in Nepal, SJVN Thermal Private Limited in Bihar, and SJVN Green Energy Limited.

Beginning his career as an officer in the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services in 1989, Sharma has held various significant positions within the service.
