Delhi court summons BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in wrestlers’ sexual harassment case

A Delhi court Friday summoned BJP MP and outgoing Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Vinod Tomar after taking cognizance of the chargesheet filed against them for alleged sexual harassment, assault and stalking of six women wrestlers.

The Rouse Avenue Court has is listed the matter next for July 18, 2.30 pm.

On April 21, seven female wrestlers, including a minor, had filed separate complaints of sexual harassment and criminal intimidation against Singh at Connaught Place police station.
