JIPMAT 2023 registration begins; steps to apply

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has extended the registration deadline for its undergraduate courses until April 12, 2023. The decision has been made to allow more candidates to apply for the undergraduate programs offered by the university.

JIPMAT 2023, the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test, registration has begun. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application window for JIPMAT 2023 from April 1, 2023. JIPMAT is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission into the five-year integrated management programme offered at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. The exam is scheduled to be held on June 11, 2023, in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.

Here are the steps to apply for JIPMAT 2023:

Step 1: Visit the official website of JIPMAT at jipmat.nta.ac.in Step 2: Click on the ‘New Registration’ button and fill in the required details such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc. to generate login credentials. Step 3: Login to the portal using the generated credentials and complete the application form by filling in the required details such as educational qualifications, personal information, etc. Step 4: Upload scanned copies of passport size photograph, signature and other required documents in the prescribed format. Step 5: Pay the application fee online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Step 6: Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

The application fee for JIPMAT 2023 varies based on the category of the applicant. General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 2,000 while SC, ST, and PwD candidates need to pay Rs. 1,000 as application fee.

JIPMAT 2023 will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying four marks. The exam will be divided into three sections – Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (40 questions) and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (20 questions). There will be negative marking of one mark for every incorrect answer.

Candidates who successfully clear JIPMAT 2023 will be eligible for admission into the five-year integrated management programme offered at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. The selection process will include a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

The JIPMAT 2023 registration process has begun on March 31, 2023, and will continue until April 30, 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) for admission to the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu.

Interested candidates can apply for the exam by visiting the official website of NTA JIPMAT (https://jipmat.nta.ac.in/). The application form can only be filled online, and there is no provision for offline submission.

The registration process involves four steps: registration, filling the application form, uploading documents, and payment of the application fee. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before filling the application form.

Candidates must also ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the exam. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed their Class 12th or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

The JIPMAT 2023 exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode on June 11, 2023. The exam will consist of three sections – Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC).

The total duration of the exam will be two hours, and there will be a total of 100 questions. The exam will be conducted in two sessions – the morning session will be from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and the afternoon session will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

After the exam, the NTA will release the JIPMAT 2023 result on its official website. Candidates can check their results by entering their application number and date of birth.
