A mother’s love is the most unconditional and she always tries to sacrifice her own comfort for her children. A video that shows a mother’s selfless love is going viral on Instagram.

A man named William Patrick posted the video a week ago and it has received a whopping 24 million views. The elderly woman is seen riding pillion on a motorcycle that her son was driving.

There is a downpour as the vehicles are waiting at a traffic signal. To protect her son from the rain, she holds a package over his head while she is getting drenched herself. The video seems to have been recorded by someone adjacent to them. “Why no one can replace her,” says a text insert in the video.

The elderly woman’s simple gesture won the hearts of netizens.

“The only woman who loves you unconditionally… Amma,” commented a user. “If I were him I would ask my mother to cover herself first even if she didn’t listen I would somehow convince her to do that, because she must have done that to me when I was a child, not knowing anything, and now that i grew up it’s time that i take care of myself and she takes care of her too. Rather than always appreciating mother’s or a woman’s sacrifice, why not appreciate her taking care of herself and her being just like her,” another user wrote. “The most loving factor is, u tell her not to do and she will still do it,” posted a third.
