Citadel India: Samantha Ruth Prabhu enjoys downtime with directors Raj & DK in Serbia

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has treated fans to an exciting peek into her time spent shooting for the highly anticipated series Citadel India in Serbia. She shared photos and a video from her experience in the country’s capital city Belgrade, along with her co-directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK (Raj & DK).

Samantha shared a series of captivating pictures, showcasing the picturesque beauty of Belgrade. One photo captured Samantha cuddling a cute puppy. Following that, she shared pictures of Raj & DK striking a pose for the camera. While Samantha enjoyed a hot drink, her colleagues savoured beers in the laid-back atmosphere. In the final photo of the post, Samantha posed adorably while reading a restaurant’s menu.

Citadel India is written by Sita R Menon, along with Raj & DK. The series also features Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who is making his debut in the digital space. In a recent interview with PTI, Varun praised Samantha as “one of the hardest working actors” and expressed his commitment to delivering a remarkable performance alongside her.

Citadel is a multi-language series, which includes spin-off shows set in different countries, including Italy, India, Spain and Mexico. The US version of Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, has already been renewed for a second season.

Apart from Citadel India, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has other exciting projects in her kitty. She will be seen in the Telugu film Kushi, directed by Shiva Nirvana. Additionally, Samantha is set to star in Chennai Story, an adaptation of Timeri N Murari’s best-selling 2004 novel The Arrangements of Love.
