Outlining the importance of door-to-door outreach campaigns to communicate the achievements of nine years of Narendra Modi government at the Centre, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis Tuesday asked BJP ministers to proactively participate in the programmes.

Fadnavis said, “I have taken the initiative to reach out personally to 500 families. It is my ardent pleasure to urge all elected representatives and ministers to set aside some time to reach out to the masses.”

The deputy CM was addressing BJP workers at party headquarters in Mumbai.

The improved living standards of the poor after the implementation of the Garib Kalyan Yojna, India’s higher ranking at the economic front globally and the overall growth and development by Modi government should be apprised to the people through door-to-door campaign, he said.

On Tuesday, as PM Modi addressed ten lakh booth workers from Bhopal, Fadnavis led the state unit’s participation in the event virtually.

Mera Booth, Sabse Mazbooth is an initiative taken as part of the ongoing programmes celebrating nine years of Modi government,” he said, and added, “Today, PM Modi has addressed ten lakh booth workers. The BJP has a good opportunity to communicate with the people. Our outreach plan should be relentless and optimum.”

Further, he said that PM Modi’s leadership has helped India earn the place of pride globally. “Our PM has a connect with the people. They have reposed faith in his leadership and look up to him both in India and abroad,” he said.

In the last nine years, welfare schemes have benefitted the needy and the poor. The government has generously allocated funds to states for infrastructure projects, Fadnavis said.
