Rajkummar Rao, the critically acclaimed Bollywood actor, has been making waves in the film industry for over a decade now. With his latest movie Bheed, in which he portrays a police officer, hitting the theatres on March 24, the actor has addressed rumors of him going through plastic surgery to enhance his looks.

Despite being rejected for lead roles in the past due to his unconventional looks and even the shape of his eyebrow, Rajkummar denies having undergone any plastic surgery. In fact, he humorously admits to only being able to smile about such rumors.

Rajkummar’s impressive acting skills have earned him numerous accolades over the years, including a National Film Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of human rights activist Shahid Azmi in the biopic Shahid. Last year, he received praise for his performance as a closeted police officer in Badhaai Do.

In addition to Bheed, Rajkummar will also be seen in several other exciting projects. He stars in Mr and Mrs Mahi, a Dharma Productions film with Janhvi Kapoor, and plays industrialist Srikanth Bolla in his biopic Sri, set to be released later this year. He is also part of the star-studded cast of Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s upcoming period drama series Guns & Gulaabs, which also features Dulquer Salmaan and Adarsh Gourav.

Despite facing rejection and criticisms earlier in his career, Rajkummar’s talent and hard work have propelled him to the top of the industry. With his versatile roles and impressive performances, he continues to be a beloved figure in Bollywood.

A recent study published in The Lancet medical journal suggests that natural infection with COVID-19 provides significant protection against severe disease, hospitalization, and death for at least 10 months after the initial infection. The study, which was conducted in Israel, analyzed data from more than 800,000 individuals who were tested for COVID-19 between June 2020 and January 2021. Of these, approximately 13% had tested positive for the virus during the first wave of the pandemic. Researchers found that those who had been infected with COVID-19 were significantly less likely to be reinfected with the virus during the second wave of the pandemic compared to those who had not been previously infected. Specifically, individuals with prior infection had an 84% lower risk of becoming reinfected with COVID-19 compared to those who had never been infected. Moreover, the study revealed that individuals with natural infection had an 88% lower risk of hospitalization and death due to COVID-19 during the second wave of the pandemic compared to those who had never been infected. This protection persisted for at least 10 months after the initial infection.
