The CSC Academy and NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology) have signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) to work together to enhance digital literacy and skill development in India. This MoU is aimed at establishing a long-term partnership between the two organizations and promoting initiatives that create employment opportunities for the youth of India.
CSC Academy is a subsidiary of Common Service Centre e-Governance Services India Limited, and is dedicated to providing digital literacy and skill development to individuals across the country. NIELIT is an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. It is responsible for conducting courses and providing certification in the field of Information Technology (IT).
The MoU between CSC Academy and NIELIT will enable the two organizations to work together in developing and implementing initiatives that will promote digital literacy and skill development across India. The partnership will focus on providing training and certification in various digital skills and technologies, including data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and more.
The collaboration between CSC Academy and NIELIT will also help in creating job opportunities for the youth of India. CSC Academy and NIELIT have agreed to collaborate on developing and implementing training programs in various technology fields, such as Accreditation and Facilitation Centre, Skill Development, Content and Certifications, Virtual Academy, Digital and Financial Inclusion, Faculty Development Program, Entrepreneurship Development, and Provision of Support to Mutual Partners and NGOs.
According to Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, Director General of NIELIT, the MoU with CSC Academy is an important step towards creating a digitally literate society in India. He also stated that this partnership would provide a broader audience with an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills for the 21st century.
Sanjay Kumar Rakesh, MD & CEO of CSC SPV, also expressed his pleasure at collaborating with NIELIT to promote digital literacy and skill development in India. He highlighted that NIELIT is a premier institute in the information technology field.
