Anurag Singh Thakur joins the closing ceremony of Mathrubhumi’s 100-year anniversary celebrations.

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Singh Thakur, is scheduled to attend the closing ceremony of Mathrubhumi daily’s centenary celebrations as the chief guest in Kerala. The valedictory ceremony will take place at the CIAL Convention Centre, where Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the event. Mathrubhumi is one of the leading Malayalam newspapers in Kerala.

The Union Minister will arrive at Nedumbassery Airport in the morning and will interact with the students and faculty of Rajagiri Business School at the institute premises in Kakkanad later in the afternoon. Anurag Thakur will also inaugurate the ‘Stag Table Tennis Academy’ and present ‘Golden Boots’ awards to former and current internal athletes as part of the event.

In the evening, the Union Minister will take part in a function at Pragati Academy in Perumbavoor. Thakur will inaugurate the Holistic Sports in School Curriculum programme, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020. Kerala Sports Minister V Abdu Rahiman will also be participating in the event. Later, the Union Minister will leave for Chennai on the same night.
