Anushka Sharma opens up on maintaining work-life balance, says, “I don’t want to do movies just to stay in the game” 
 

Anushka Sharma discussed her past year in an interview with a magazine. She shared that she had been very busy with filming for her first production, Chakda Xpress, after giving birth to her daughter Vamika. Anushka talked about how challenging it was to balance her responsibilities as a new mother and her comeback film. 

 
 
In an interview with Grazia India, Anushka Sharma discussed how she spent the previous year, stating that she was busy filming for her first production, Chakda Xpress, after giving birth to her daughter Vamika. She also talked about the difficulties of balancing her new role as a mother with her return to acting.In a recent interview with a magazine, Anushka Sharma revealed that her entire last year was consumed with the filming of her first production, Chakda Xpress, after the birth of her daughter Vamika. She shared that she would finish shooting and then have limited time to spend with her daughter, take care of her evening routine, and sleep early. Anushka expressed her willingness to do more movies but only if it’s worth her time and makes sense. She also stated that she does not want to do films just to stay in the game and would only consider a project like Chakda.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied knot in 2017 after dating for few years. In 2021, the couple embraced parenthood and welcomed their daughter Vamika. 
Anushka discussed the fact that she does everything for Vamika and how her daughter is developing into a secure individual as a result. She said, “It has internally made me a far more self-assured individual – I feel I’m way more confident as a person. It’s a very real thing, caring for another human – and putting the child first in everything. I want to mention this – that it’s so important to have this connect with your child. I’m so hands on and I do everything for her, and I enjoy doing it, so the bond is very special. I feel that she’s turning into a secure individual, and I’m happy about that.” 

Anushka Sharma’s last lead role in a movie was in Zero, where she co-starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She also had a cameo appearance in the recent movie Qala. Anushka is currently managing her production house Clean Slate Filmz along with her brother Karnesh Sharma and is preparing for the release of her upcoming production Chakda Xpress, where she plays the role of a cricketer. The movie is believed to be a biopic based on the life of the renowned Indian female cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
