After the task, Abdu looked annoyed and was heard saying, “Bigg Boss I am done”. He also said, “She killed me, why did I not choose someone else instead of her? This was one big mistake of my life. She is crazy.” The reality show landed in controversy a few days earlier when Jad Hadi and Akanksha Puri kissed as part of a task. Salman Khan, who famously never kisses on screen, had also reprimanded Hadid later.

After watching the video, netizens have slammed Manisha for forcing a kiss, even if it was on his cheeks. One Twitter user wrote, “Manisha, leave him alone, he just wants to dance,” another wrote, “Not done, he looked so uncomfortable.” Bigg Boss OTT 1 participant and social media sensation Uorfi Javed too took to Instagram story to give her two cents on the incident. She wrote, “This was so comfortable to watch. Why was she forcibly kissing him? He’s not a kid. Boundaries people.”

Abdu, who has a huge social media following has now also opened a burger restaurant in Mumbai. Last year, when he participated in Bigg Boss 16, he was put in a similar situation  where his competitor Tina Dutta was seen forcibly hugging and kissing him.

Before entering the TV reality show’s OTT version, Abdu had expressed his excitement about being on the show which is hosted by his ‘favourite bhaijaan’ Salman Khan. He had said in a statement, “I’m really, really happy to be in Bigg Boss OTT 2 and entertain all the wonderful people out there once again. BB OTT 2 has been trending for all the right reasons and I can’t wait to meet everyone including my favourite bhaijaan. To swagat nahi karoge humara?”

Bigg Boss OTT 2 is streaming on JioCinema.
