The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has promised the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission and free education for girls in its election manifesto for Meghalaya. The manifesto was released by BJP President JP Nadda in the state capital Shillong on Wednesday.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has promised the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission and free education for girls in its election manifesto for Meghalaya. The manifesto was released by BJP President JP Nadda in the state capital Shillong on Wednesday.

The manifesto promises timely disbursal of salaries to government employees in Meghalaya. Nadda said during the release, “We will implement the 7th Pay Commission in Meghalaya and the salaries of the government employees will be disbursed in time.”

In addition to the promise of implementing the 7th Pay Commission, the BJP manifesto also includes a commitment to providing free education to girls in the state. The manifesto states that the party will ensure that every girl child in Meghalaya receives free education from Class 1 to graduation level.

The BJP is one of the major political parties contesting in the upcoming assembly elections in Meghalaya, which is scheduled to take place on March 3. The party is hoping to make significant gains in the state and is contesting on all 60 assembly seats.

Nadda said that the amount paid to farmers under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi will be increased by Rs 2000 and a bond of Rs 50,000 will be given on the birth of a girl child. “(we’ll) provide free education to girls from kindergarten to post-graduation,” he added.

He said, “We will also launch a support scheme of financial assistance of Rs 24,000 annually to dependant widows and single mothers to empower them. Two LPG cylinders annually will be given to Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries.”

The election manifesto released by the BJP has been welcomed by the party’s supporters in Meghalaya. Many have praised the party’s commitment to the welfare of government employees and the education of girl children in the state.

The BJP’s promise to implement the 7th Pay Commission and provide free education to girls is expected to resonate with voters in Meghalaya, where these issues are of great importance. The party is hoping that these promises will help it gain the support of the electorate and emerge as a major player in the state’s politics.

BJP Manifesto For Nagaland

On Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its election manifesto for the upcoming Nagaland assembly elections, wherein it pledged to offer a special package for the eastern part of the state if it secures power for the second time consecutively. The party also stated that it will establish an Eastern Nagaland Development Board to promote the overall development of the region. Additionally, the BJP promised to speed up the construction of the Trans-Nagaland Highway by working in conjunction with the central government, to enable easy connectivity between districts, particularly in eastern Nagaland.

The BJP also promised to establish a dedicated Nagaland cultural research fund, with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore, to safeguard the Naga identity, establish a cultural university and put in Rs 100 crore to promote and broaden the reach of major tribal festivals. In order to ensure general welfare, the party also committed to providing free monthly rice and wheat, along with 5 kg of black chickpeas and one litre of mustard oil per family quarterly at subsidized rates to all PDS beneficiaries.

The Nagaland assembly elections are set to take place in a single phase on February 27, along with Meghalaya.
