She started her career in 2014 as an intern with the Times of India while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi. During her time at TOI, she covered a variety of metro beats, including crime, education, and ministry. She quickly proved herself to be a talented and dedicated journalist and was soon hired as a full-time reporter.

After completing her Master’s degree, Satabhisa decided to shift gears and pursue a career in digital marketing and advertising. In 2017, she joined OYO’s Global Brand team, where she became the Copy Head. In 2016, while pursuing her Journalism degree, Satabhisa founded Socio Martini, a global lifestyle brand with a vision to be fully digital and have zero carbon footprint by 2024. The company has an all-women team of six members, with three based in India and the rest in New York, Dublin, and Dubai. Satabhisa and her team are trained to use all kinds of camera and shoot equipment for both stills and videography. Socio Martini also hires freelancers from around the world and has plans to set up outposts in Switzerland, London, and New York in 2023.

Satabhisa’s career trajectory is a testament to her versatility, creativity, and ambition. From covering metro beats for TOI to building global brands and launching her own company, she has demonstrated a knack for adapting to new challenges and finding innovative solutions. As she continues to grow her career and expand her business, there is no doubt that she will continue to make a significant impact in her field.
