Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden recently attended the premiere of their upcoming show Citadel in Mumbai, followed by a host of Bollywood celebrities including Rekha, Varun Dhawan, and Nora Fatehi. The event was attended by an array of notable stars including filmmakers and actors who came dressed to impress. The Indian version of Citadel, which Priyanka and Richard star in, also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan.

Varun Dhawan arrived at the event sporting a funky outfit that included baggy pants, a black t-shirt, and an oversized statement jacket in blue. Meanwhile, veteran actress Rekha was the epitome of grace, as always, in a stunning brown saree. She greeted the paparazzi with folded hands and posed for several pictures with Varun and others. The screening was also attended by filmmakers Madhur Bhandarkar and Anubhav Sinha, as well as a host of other celebrities.

Priyanka Chopra stole the show in a stunning teal printed dress with a voluminous trail and a bold thigh-high slit. Her co-star Richard Madden looked equally dapper in an all-black suit. The pair had recently kicked off promotions for their show in India with a press conference on Monday.

Citadel is based on the story of two elite spies, Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra), whose memories were erased after narrowly escaping with their lives following the fall of an independent global spy agency called Citadel. The show is backed by Amazon Studios and the Russo Brothers’ AGBO banner with David Weil.

Other notable attendees included Aditi Rao Hydari, Anusha Dandekar, Gurfateh Pirzada, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, Jim Sarbh, Sunny Leone, Rakul Preet Singh, Neha Dhupia, Ali Fazal, Sayani Gupta, Kubbra Sait, Nora Fatehi, Anushka Sen, Ayesha Sharma, Neha Sharma, Sophie Choudry, Nikhil Dwivedi, Prajakta Koli, Sanya Malhotra, Shweta Tripathi and Anubhav Singh Bassi.

The Citadel premiere was a star-studded affair with some of Bollywood’s biggest names in attendance. Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden looked every bit the part of their spy thriller characters, and the event was a great way to kick off the buzz for the show’s release on April 28.
