Class 10 Exams: Over 11 Lakh Students Appear In Andhra Pradesh, Telangana

Over 11 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 board exams in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which commenced on Monday, amid strict COVID-19 protocols.

In Andhra Pradesh, around 6.39 lakh students appeared for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams, which are being conducted from April 5 to April 20. The exams are being held in more than 2,800 centers across the state.

Meanwhile, in Telangana, around 4.53 lakh students appeared for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams, which began on May 17 and will continue until May 26. The exams are being held in more than 11,000 centers across the state.

Both states have taken strict measures to ensure the safety of students during the exams, including sanitization of exam halls before and after each session, mandatory wearing of masks and social distancing norms.

The exams are being conducted offline, despite concerns over the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, the state governments have assured students and parents that all necessary precautions have been taken to ensure their safety.
