The untimely rains, thunderstorms, and hailstorms have affected many districts of Rajasthan, causing severe damage to crops. Hailstorm has particularly hit crops, leading to an enormous loss for farmers. In addition, lightning has caused the loss of lives in some areas, with two people losing their lives in Pali and one each in Nagaur and Udaipur. Moreover, the change in the weather has caused the temperature to drop by four degrees, adding to the farmers’ woes.
The government has been urged to offer relief to the affected farmers, and the local authorities have been asked to initiate measures to mitigate the damages caused by the weather conditions. The agriculture department has been instructed to provide adequate compensation to farmers and ensure that they are supported in every way possible.

The agriculture sector plays a critical role in the economy of Rajasthan, and the state government has taken many initiatives to support farmers. However, the recent weather conditions have posed a significant threat to the livelihoods of farmers. Hence, immediate measures are necessary to address the situation and support farmers during this critical time.
