Education Minister Atishi visited the centre for innovation, incubation and entrepreneurship (CIIE.CO) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad Saturday. She interacted with enthusiastic entrepreneurs who are shaping their innovative start-up projects at the centre.
“The government is planning to introduce “Business Blasters” for students in Higher education institutions and Technical institutes. These initiatives are aimed at empowering young minds to explore their entrepreneurial potential and contribute to India’s vibrant start-up ecosystem.” said Atishi.
She added that the insights and learnings gained from CIIE.CO’s successful entrepreneurship initiatives will play a vital role in shaping the government’s youth entrepreneurship program.
CIIE.CO, located at IIM Ahmedabad, offers incubation space for start-ups to collaborate, innovate, and grow. The centre invests in early-stage start-ups and extends support through regional and virtual incubation programs, providing guidance and mentorship throughout the entrepreneurial journey.
Atishi further stated “With the Business Blasters program in Delhi government schools, we have been able to empower lakhs of children to become job providers instead of job seekers. This not only encouraged more young entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams and contribute to India’s economic growth and innovation but also gave them the confidence to face every challenge of life fearlessly.”
