Indian billionaire Gautam Adani, in his shareholder speech on Tuesday, reiterated his unwavering dedication to the development of Mumbai. He provided an update on the progress of the Navi Mumbai airport project, affirming that it remains on schedule and is expected to commence operations by December 2024. The project, known as the Navi Mumbai International Airport, is set to be developed in multiple phases, with a total capacity of accommodating 60 million passengers per annum.

The company has been entrusted with the responsibility of operating six airports, including Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram. Additionally, Adani Airport Holdings will oversee operations at both the Mumbai and the upcoming Navi Mumbai International airports.
