Hexaware Technologies, an IT company based in Navi Mumbai, plans to expand its global workforce by 6,000 to 8,000 employees this year, with approximately 4,000 new hires in India, according to a company announcement on Tuesday. Currently, Hexaware employs around 30,000 people.
“We plan to hire 6,000-8,000 employees globally. Of this, around 4,000 will come from India,” stated Rajesh Balasubramanian, Hexaware’s Executive Vice President and Global Head of Talent Supply Chain.
The recruitment efforts will target talented professionals for Hexaware’s offshore, onshore, and near-shore centers in India, the US, Canada, Mexico, Poland, and the UK.
In India, the company plans to hire in cities including Hyderabad, Noida, Coimbatore, Dehradun, and Bengaluru. Additionally, Hexaware will conduct recruitment drives in Ahmedabad, Indore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Dehradun, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
In the US, the company will focus on hiring in McLean, Chicago, Dallas, Iselin, and Reston. Specific roles will also be targeted in Poland and the UK, according to the statement. Hexaware operates over 45 offices across 16 countries.
