KCET 2023: Registration deadline extended to April 7; check how to apply

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has extended the registration deadline for its undergraduate courses until April 12, 2023. The decision has been made to allow more candidates to apply for the undergraduate programs offered by the university.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2023 registration to April 7, 2023. Interested candidates can visit the official website of KEA to register for the exam.

KCET is a state-level entrance examination conducted by KEA for admission to various undergraduate programmes in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, veterinary sciences, and other courses offered by colleges in Karnataka.

Here are the steps to apply for KCET 2023:

  1. Visit the official website of KEA: kea.kar.nic.in
  2. Click on the link for “KCET 2023 Registration”.
  3. Fill in the required details such as personal information, educational qualifications, etc.
  4. Upload the required documents such as passport size photograph and signature.
  5. Pay the application fee through online mode using a debit card, credit card or net banking.
  6. Click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration process.

The application fee for KCET 2023 is Rs. 500 for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates.

After successful registration, candidates can download the admit card for KCET 2023 from the official website of KEA. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in the last week of April 2023, and the result is expected to be declared in May 2023.

It is advised that candidates should read the KCET 2023 information brochure carefully before filling the application form. The brochure contains all the necessary information related to the exam such as eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, important dates, etc.
