Meta announces monthly subscription service for Quest VR headset users

Mark Zuckerberg has announced a new subscription service for Quest VR headset users. Meta Quest+, priced at $7.99 a month, offers free games and additional VR content for its subscribers. And, Meta will continue to add two new VR games every month starting this August.

Meta Quest+ subscription is applicable for Quest 2 and Quest Pro users. Similarly, it is also compatible with the upcoming Quest 3. Users can buy a Quest+ subscription from the Meta Quest store starting today (June 26) for $7.99 a month or for $59.99 a year. Similarly, first-time subscribers can get the Quest+ subscription for just $1 for the first month.


The Meta Quest series of VR headsets are known for offering an affordable virtual reality experience, and the company recently announced the Quest 3 with improved tracking technology to deliver an immersive user experience. The Quest 3 VR headset will be on sale starting this fall.

As of now, Meta Quest+ subscribers will get to enjoy games like Pixel Ripped 1995 and Pistol Whip. Similarly, the company will be adding titles like Walkabout Mini Golf and Mothergunship: Forge in August. Users will get to keep these titles as long as they are subscribers. Similarly, users will regain access to all their content even if they take a break between subscriptions.
