Multimedia exhibition organised by Education Ministry during G20’s 2nd EdWG Meeting

On 15th March 2023, the Ministry of Education in India organized a multimedia exhibition in partnership with IIT Ropar, as part of the G20’s 2nd EdWG Meeting. The exhibition was held at Khalsa College in Amritsar and was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann. The exhibition will be open to local institutions, students, academicians, and researchers on 16th-17th March 2023. Following the exhibition, there will be a two-day working group meeting scheduled for 16th-17th March 2023.

The exhibition comprises over 90 stalls, which include prominent organizations such as NCERT, NBT (National Book Trust), NSDC, IKS (Indian Knowledge System), IDEAS Technology Innovation Hub at ISI Kolkata, Punjab Tourism, IIM Amritsar, IIT Mandi, IIT Ropar, and several other start-ups. The objective of the exhibition is to provide first-hand exposure to and learning opportunities in research and collaboration in education.

The Ministry of Education’s initiative to organize this exhibition on the sidelines of the G20’s 2nd EdWG Meeting is aimed at promoting the exchange of knowledge and ideas among educators, researchers, and students from different parts of the world. The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for the participants to explore the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in education and to collaborate with like-minded people from diverse backgrounds.
