The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and the Board of Pramerica Life Insurance have approved his appointment, succeeding Kalpana Sampat, who was the previous MD & CEO. Gupta will be responsible for leading the strategic growth and transformation of Pramerica Life to make it one of the leading life insurance companies in India.
Gupta joins Pramerica Life Insurance from HDFC Life, where he served as Group Head – Distribution Strategy & Alliances, and was a part of HDFC Life’s top Leadership team.
