Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela, who were blessed with a baby girl on June 20, on Friday revealed their daughter’s name is Klin Kaara Konidela. Upasana and Ram named their daughter in a grand traditional ceremony, a glimpse of which Ram shared on social media. It took place at Upasana’s mother’s house in Hyderabad.
Revealing the meaning of the name of her daughter, Upasana wrote on Instagram, “KLIN KAARA KONIDELA ❤️Taken from the Lalitha Sahasranamam the name signifies a transformative, purifying energy that brings about a spiritual awakening. A big big hug to our daughters grandparents ?????.”
Ram Charan also shared pictures from the naming ceremony. Megastar Chiranjeevi was also present at the event. He was seen wearing a traditional outfit as he struck a pose with his wife Surekha Konidala, and Upasana’s parents. The RRR actor captioned the post with a heart emoji.
Upon the birth of his granddaughter, Chiranjeevi had written on Twitter, “Welcome Little Mega Princess !! ❤️❤️❤️ You have spread cheer among the Mega Family of millions on your arrival as much as you have made the blessed parents @AlwaysRamCharan & @upasanakonidela and us grandparents, Happy and Proud!! ??.”
He also shared the meaning of her name on Instagram and added, “All of us are sure the little one, the Little Princess will imbibe these qualities into her personality .. as she grows up..Enchanted ! ?”
Earlier, Upasana Konidela had revealed how Ram Charan reacted when he got to know about her pregnancy. “When I told him that I think I am pregnant, he said, ‘Don’t get too excited, calm down’. Once we repeated the tests and we knew that all the tests were fine, that’s when we celebrated,” she said and added that this is what she admires most about Ram. “He’s the calming factor in my life, while I am the more excited one. I love to express my feelings; he does it calmly in his own way,” she told Times of India.
Ram and Upasana announced their pregnancy in December 2022.
