RRR star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela welcomed their first child, daughter Klin Kaara, in June. The couple recently had a grand naming ceremony at their Hyderabad residence, which was attended by Upasana’s parents, Anil Kamineni and Shobana Kamineni, as well. Now, Shobana has revealed that she initially wanted to give Upasana the same name, but decided against it. Upasana reacted to her mother’s post.
Shobana uploaded pictures from the baby naming ceremony on her social media account, and wrote in the caption, “Upasna, I wanted to name u KlinKaara, when u were born. Thank you both ( Ram & Upasna) for the most perfect child of ur love, who will be our future transformational energy. We love u Kaara.”
Upasana re-posted her mother’s post on her Instagram stories, and wrote, “Love you mom.” Check out Shobana’s post –
Upon Klin Kaara’s birth, Ram Charan’s father, superstar Chiranjeevi, made the big announcement. He said in a statement, “Welcome Little Mega Princess !! You have spread cheer among the Mega Family of millions on your arrival as much as you have made the blessed parents @AlwaysRamCharan & @upasanakonidela and us grandparents, Happy and Proud!!”
Later, while addressing the media, Chiranjeevi said that the baby girl has had a positive influence on everyone’s lives. Talking to the media outside the hospital, he said, “The baby girl was born at 1:49 am on Tuesday. Our entire family is overjoyed. This occasion holds immense significance for us as we had been wishing for Ram Charan and Upasana to become parents for many years. On this special occasion, I would like to express gratitude to everyone who has shown support and sent wishes. We are delighted to welcome our granddaughter, especially on our favorite day, Tuesday. It is believed that the baby girl was born during auspicious hours, and her horoscope is also remarkable. We can see the positive impact on our family right from the start. Charan’s career growth and Varun’s engagement, everything is going well in our family.”
Many celebrities from the Telugu film industry had visited the baby at the hospital. Celebrities such as Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, Allu Aravind had visited Upasana and Klin Kaara.
