Rashtriya Raksha University building dedication to be done by the Prime Minister in Gujarat; 11th Khel Maha-Kumbh to be inaugurated in Ahmedabad later in the day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to dedicate the building of Rashtriya Raksha University to the nation today. The university, located near Gandhinagar in Gujarat, was established by the Indian Parliament Act and aims to become an academic-research-training ecosystem for national security and police. The Prime Minister will attend the 1st Convocation Ceremony of RRU-Gandhinagar as a Chief Guest and deliver the convocation address, while Union Home Minister Amit Shah will deliver a presidential address on this occasion.

The institution is designed to focus on highly professional national security, police education, research, and training through its qualified civilian and security faculty. A total of 1090 students will receive their degrees, out of which 13 students will receive their honorary doctorate degrees. Additionally, 38 students will be awarded Gold Medals for their outstanding performance in their academic endeavors.

Later in the evening, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the 11th Khel Mahakumbh, a state-level sports program to be held at Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. More than 47 lakh people have registered for this state-level sports event, which will be held across the state at over 500 venues.

On the occasion of the inauguration, the Prime Minister will announce the new sports policy of the Gujarat government. The Khel Mahakumbh is a state-level program that is held annually to promote sports and athletic activities among the youth of the state. It is a platform that allows the young athletes of Gujarat to showcase their talents and compete with their peers.

The event will feature different games organized at different venues, with the main event being held at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Khel Mahakumbh is a testament to the government’s commitment to promoting sports and encouraging young athletes in Gujarat.
