Embracing the data and vernacular revolution, SHEROES envisions crafting a women-centric internet ecosystem with a staggering goal of 500 million users. Under the SHEROES umbrella, Chahal has launched transformative initiatives like Maya, a women’s health app; Babygogo, a thriving community for new mothers; and Naaree.com, an influential women’s online magazine.
Beyond the digital realm, Chahal’s impact extends to the professional landscape. Mars by SHEROES, a platform for managed remote work, has empowered over 10,000 women to discover remote opportunities, all meticulously managed by the SHEROES team.
Chahal’s illustrious journey includes her role as an Aspen Fellow (2016 batch) and extends to mentoring and guiding budding businesses and entrepreneurs. Her foray into entrepreneurship began with Newslink Services in 1999, a pioneering endeavour that localized newspapers for mariners worldwide.
In 2006, Chahal co-founded SAITA Consulting, a consultancy focused on aiding small and medium-sized businesses. Her career path also led her to esteemed positions at Heidrick and Struggles and CII.
Chahal’s diverse background includes ventures that range from co-translating a book on poet Rahim’s life from Hindi to Russian, to assisting in the production of Discovery Channel’s documentary, “Holy Men of India.”
