The rank list for admission to various B Tech programmes of SASTRA Deemed University was released on June 24, 2023. In Stream-1 (50% of seats based on JEE Main & +2 marks), Paluvadi Dinesh Manideep from Hyderabad secured the 1st rank.
In Stream-2, M Abhijith from Palakkad secured 1st rank. SASTRA is the only deemed university using the JEE-Main Scores and +2 aggregate together for admission process without conducting its entrance exams. Students from J&K and North-Eastern States joining SASTRA shall be offered 100% scholarship with free boarding.
Students from J&K, North-East, and other Himalayan states and Andaman will be admitted under a special category, and 20% of seats are allotted for students from Trichy and Thanjavur schooling districts besides special provisions for other states also.
