In Tajikistan, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 struck near the border with China.
On Thursday, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Tajikistan near the country's border with China. According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake was centered 67 kilometers (41 miles) west of Murghob and had a depth of 20 kilometers (12 miles).
