Telangana is home to several prominent universities, including Osmania University, the University of Hyderabad, and the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. The state has made significant strides in education, with a literacy rate of over 66% as of 2021.

The state’s economy is primarily based on agriculture, with crops like cotton, rice, and maize being the main agricultural products. The state is also home to several large industrial parks and special economic zones, which have attracted investments from domestic and international companies.

The state government has launched several initiatives to promote economic growth and development, including the Telangana Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System (TS-iPASS) and the Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC).
