University of Strathclyde invites applications for Science Masters Scholarship

The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is inviting applications for scholarships worth £6,000. This scholarship is available to new international students joining a postgraduate taught master’s degree in the Faculty of Science.

Interested students can apply at the official website of the varsity — strath.ac.uk.

To be eligible for this international students’ scholarship, the interested candidates should be new, international fee-paying student holding an offer of admission for a full-time, taught master’s degree in the Faculty of Science for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The subjects eligible for this scholarship are Chemistry, Computer science, Mathematics & statistics, Pharmacy and biomedical sciences, Physics, Forensic science, Biochemistry, Biology and biological sciences, Biomedical science, Immunology, Microbiology and Pharmacology.

Interested students should also be self-funded. Students who receive full scholarships, for example from a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.

The varsity will have a total of 150 scholarships, which will be between £4,000 and £6,000 and will be valid for a period of one year. The scholarship will be awarded towards the payment of a student’s tuition fee, subject to academic progression.

It is important to remember that the awards are available for on campus study only, online master’s degrees are not eligible for this scholarship.
