Meta has introduced a bunch of new features to its WhatsApp Business app. Available on both Android and iOS platforms, the updated WhatsApp Business app offers the ability to create ads within the app to find and connect with new customers on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Similarly, the WhatsApp Business app has also introduced a new paid message feature.

WhatsApp currently has over 200 million officially registered businesses on the platform. With the latest update, users can create custom Facebook and Instagram ads within the WhatsApp Business app using just an email ID, without requiring a Facebook account.

WhatsApp Business also gets a new paid message feature, where businesses can now send paid messages to users within the app to reach more customers efficiently. Similarly, the new feature also allows businesses to schedule these messages.

WhatsApp currently offers free 1,000 service conversation messages for its business platform every month. However, marketing, utility, and authentication conversations are not part of the free tier.

WhatsApp also uses conversation-based pricing, where business owners can create a marketing, utility, or service-style conversation, and for each style of conversation, Meta will charge per 24-hour conversation. These features are rolling out to WhatsApp Business users across the world and will soon be available for all users.
