Her academic credentials are equally impressive, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Punjab Technical University, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. With over 17 years of experience in product development, payments, and financial services, Taku’s expertise is unparalleled.

Prior to her entrepreneurial venture, Taku honed her skills at PayPal, San Jose, where she excelled as a Product Manager in the Financial Services, Global Payments, and Risk divisions. She also garnered valuable experience at HSBC, San Diego, contributing to the Product team in the auto finance division.

Taku’s unwavering commitment to creating tangible impact at grassroots levels spurred her return to India from the United States in 2008. Her industrious efforts and community-centric approach have established her as an inspirational figure, earning her recognition as one of India’s foremost Tech founders.

In 2018, she received a prestigious accolade from the President of India, being hailed as the First woman to lead a Payments Startup. Forbes Asia acknowledged her in their Power Businesswomen list of 25 accomplished women shaping Asia’s business landscape in 2019. Further, she secured a prominent spot in the Kotak Wealth Hurun – Leading Wealthy Women List 2020, ranking as the 12th wealthiest self-made woman in India.
