These developments took place between January and April this year and extend the group’s presence in key cities, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ujjain, Raipur, Sonamarg, Manali, Kerala, and Visakhapatnam. The company also introduced its luxury lifestyle brand, Radisson Collection, in India with the signing of the first hotel in Hyderabad, while expanding its portfolio across other renowned brands.

The newly signed hotels span multiple brands within the Hotel Group. Alongside the introduction of the Radisson Collection, the group has further expanded its presence with the signing of properties under brands such as Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Inn & Suites, and Radisson Individuals Retreats—a brand extension of Radisson Individuals. These developments reflect the company’s commitment to diversify its offerings and cater to a wide range of travelers across different market segments.

With the addition of these 11 hotels, Hotel Group has further solidified its presence in India. The company already operates 110 hotels across 64 locations in South Asia, making India a vital market for its global strategy. Ramzy Fenianos, the Chief Development Officer for APAC at Hotel Group, highlighted the significance of the Indian market and stated that expanding the company’s footprint in India is a long-term goal. He expressed confidence in the growth trajectory, citing strong wins in 2022 that have set the stage for further expansion in the current year. Fenianos emphasized the company’s focus on doubling its footprint by 2025 and the importance of finding the right partners to establish brand-defining hotels.

Zubin Saxena, the Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President for South Asia at Hotel Group, noted that 2023 marks a significant milestone for the company as it completes 25 years of operations in the Indian market. Saxena emphasized the ambitious expansion plans, which have seen the signing of 11 new hotels since January, with a robust pipeline for the year ahead. He reiterated the group’s commitment to strengthening its brand structure and delivering quality hospitality to guests across India.

Hotel Group’s recent signings of new properties in India demonstrate its strategic focus on growth and diversification in the dynamic hospitality market.
