In a leaked live video shared by a tipster, it appears that Tecno is preparing to launch a new handset soon, possibly the Tecno Pova smartphone. The leaked video showcases an RGB LED light strip on the rear panel of the phone, which illuminates when there is an incoming call. This feature seems to be inspired by the Glyph Interface found on the Nothing Phone 2 and its predecessor, the Phone 1. The Tecno Pova 5, equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a 6,000mAh battery, was recently launched in select global markets.

The leaked video was shared on Twitter by tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24). The footage reveals the Tecno Pova smartphone with an LED light strip positioned next to the camera module in the top left corner of the rear panel. While the Nothing Phone’s Glyph Interface utilizes a single LED color, the Tecno handset is expected to offer RGB lighting. Reports suggest that Tecno may introduce its own software called the Arc Interface to facilitate this LED light strip functionality.

The Arc Interface is anticipated to utilize the LED light strip to provide notifications for various events on the smartphone. In the leaked video, the tipster demonstrates how the light illuminates when there is an incoming call. However, specific details about the Arc Interface, such as the extent of customization options available to users, have not been disclosed. Additional information about the rumored device and its features is expected to be revealed by Tecno at a later date.

A report by 91Mobiles speculates that the model showcased in the leaked video could be the Tecno Pova 5 Pro. If this assumption holds true, the device might come equipped with a powerful 7,000mAh battery and support 68W wired fast charging. However, the report did not provide a source for this information, so it is advisable to approach these details with some caution until officially confirmed by Tecno.

As Tecno prepares to unveil its new handset, the inclusion of the LED light strip inspired by the Glyph Interface is likely to garner attention from tech enthusiasts. The feature could enhance the visual appeal of the device and provide users with a unique and customizable notification experience. With Tecno’s track record of offering competitive specifications at affordable price points, consumers eagerly await further updates on the upcoming smartphone.

As the official launch of the Tecno handset approaches, more information regarding its specifications, design, and availability is expected to be revealed. Tecno enthusiasts and smartphone enthusiasts, in general, will keep a close eye on the company’s announcements, eagerly anticipating the unveiling of this intriguing device.
